Folly Beach
This has been one of those days where I feel like I can't do anything right. My poor Eva...somehow got gluten yet again. I'm sure it happened over the weekend and we probably would've been just about over everything by now if I hadn't decided to go to the beach yesterday. Apparently the sunscreen I used (over her entire body!) has gluten. ARE YA KIDDING ME??!!! Can't we catch a break?! The effects seem to be slightly worse if applied directly to the skin. She has broken out in a rash. It covers her torso, neck and face. Thousands of tiny red bumps that are definitely bothersome. And of course the normal diarrhea, irritability, bloating, etc. I know we haven't been doing this very long and have so much to learn, but I hate it has to be at her expense. I've got the number for a local Registered Dietitian and am going to call tomorrow to see how much a consultation would be. I'm sure we probably can't afford it - but maybe. Even if we only go the once and just talk with someone else who knows what we're going through!!
We did have fun at the beach though. Eva looked like she was walking in quick sand when we first got there. It was like she couldn't move her feet? But that only lasted about a minute or two before she figured out how much freedom she had there. What fun!

Eva Jumping
Got video of Eva jumping for the first time. Before now, only one foot would come off the ground. You can hear her saying "aloo", which is I Love You, to Sean while he was in Boston for work.

Way to go Eva!
I'm just so proud to report that Eva's potty training is going GREAT! She's pee pee'd on the potty every day this past week and even poo'd once! Although I'm sure the poo was an accident, I'll take it! I wasn't there for that one, but Sean said she laughed and though it was funny :) Yesterday we were at the grocery store and she said, "Eva pee pee" I wasn't sure if she was telling me she had or that she needed to. We went straight to the bathroom and tried to go. It was a little uneasy at first as there was not potty chair on top of the real toilet, but very quickly after sitting down, she went. I think I've only used two diapers today! She's so smart!!! She gets marshmallows (two of the small ones) each time she goes and loves that. Thank goodness she's not allergic to those!
