Big smiles!

Alex and Nathan. Look at Alex's braces!!!

Eva's first day of school - I drew a heart on her hand to help her not be too sad. She never needed it - LOVED school! Guess I should've drawn a heart on my hand :)

Although a bad picture, you can see the knot that formed behind Eva's left ear. After an ultra sound, a CT scan and a consult with Chief of Neurosurgery at the Children's Hospital it was decided it's nothing more than a dermoid cyst. Doc says only reason to remove it would be cosmetic. So, maybe in a few years if it's still there, we'll consult with a dermatologist about removal. In the mean time, Eva says she likes her "bump".

Nathan's first social smile. Taken with my phone so not the best pic, but too cute not to post.
This flower was growing in my back yard! I had Eva stand next to it just for comparison. I have no idea what it is. I've never seen anything other than a sunflower get so big!

Nathan is here...

Just wanted to show off her long hair - not her too small bathing suit from last year that I cant get her to stop wearing! :)

Such a great big sister!!!

The new Risher family.

Proud parents!

Here he is. Sleeping soundly at 2 days old.
I'll add more pics later, just wanted to get a few on the blog site. He came like a bolt of lightening on May 15th weighing in at 7lbs 3oz and 21inches long. I went into labor at 1:11am, realized I was actually in labor at 2:30am, got to the hospital at 3:10am and delivered him at 3:39 - with no anesthesia! There was no time...they didnt even have me registered in their system before he was born. He was 9 days "early". Guess he was ready. And how cool is this...he was born on my dad's birthday!!! I didn't realize the birth of two children from the same woman could be so different.
We're all doing well considering the lack of sleep :) Eva LOVES her brother and is like a little mommy with him. I'm in awe every day about how lucky I am to have such a wonderful family.
