Dragonflies

So I learned today that dragonflies can bite. Eva has become quite the bug catcher over the last few months. And our screened porch is the perfect place for her to do that. It's like a death trap for the flying insects. They can get in (I tend to leave the door open for the dogs) but they can't seem to find their way out. Bad for them, good for Eva. She has a little bug house that she'll catch and put them in, only to release them to their mommies and daddies later on :) Today she tried to catch one and it bit her. Nothing big, no marks or anything, but it did bite her. Strange. I didn't think they did that. Not sure why I thought so, just never did. I guess the word is out about Eva and the dragonflies are fighting back. I only hope her feelings weren't hurt too bad :)

We were at a friends wedding this weekend. Andy was a groomsman. I can't get over Karissa in that dress...so Marilyn Monroe!

35 weeks

I'm scared to step on the scale at the doctor next week! :)

Our new car

Sean and I bought a 2007 Hyundai Sonata over the weekend. He got a great deal on his truck, and although sad to see it go, we knew it was the best decision for our family. Now that we're having another child, two vehicles that are capable of transporting little ones is necessary - just in case one breaks down. We really got lucky finding this. It runs so smoothly and was only owned by one older couple who kept it in practically new conditions. Not only were there only 7600 miles on it, but it still had the plastic protective covering on the door handles in the back! I'm sure the detail guy at the dealership didn't have to work very hard on this one. So Sean decided to drive the Aztec to work and let me drive the Sonata around town. I must say this is the nicest car I've ever owned. I love driving it :)

Sean and I were given a co-ed shower the day before Easter. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend and we all had a great time! Thanks to everyone who came out.
