A big day...
Yesterday was a very memorable day for us. First of all, Nathan took his first steps! Not quite 10 months yet (next week) and so determined. It was a very small step, but it happened three separate times. The last time was a very good one! We're all in trouble now :) Go Nathan!
Secondly, my friend Stacy had her baby! Little Hank Robertson was born 7 days early after a long and very hard labor. A full head of dark hair and so handsome at 8.1 pounds. All is well and mama and daddy are very tired but happy :)
Finally, and most bizzare, Eva had a sleep-walking episode last night. She's done this once before, but it was a long time ago. She was about 1 1/2 or 2 and we were spending the night with grandma. Eva and I were sharing the room and I woke to turn over and saw her walking across the room. Very strange to me as no one in my family ever did this. Sean's side of the family can take credit on this one. But last night was different. I'm sure since she's older. For the first time, Sean actually was the first one to hear her. Which meant I woke up to Sean running out of the bedroom and hearing Eva cry. Needless to say, my heart was pounding! When we got out into the living room, we saw her close to the front door. She was saying, "I need to go outside" as she was crying. Very upsetting for everyone. We picked her up and brought her to our bed where she fell asleep for a short while. We eventually took her back to her room since she's a TERRIBLE bed partner. Sean is headed to Lowes after work for chain locks for all our doors :)
