"Pee On!"

I am just so excited to report that Eva pee pee'd on the potty twice so far today. I decided to try again without telling anyone this time. Still no big deal if it works, just a why not approach. I put her on the potty chair in the living room while watching Pooh. After 30 minutes and several attempts of trying to get off, I decided to move our quest to the bathroom. Novel idea I know. I started to feel bad for keeping her on it for so long. But I knew after 16oz of milk and another 6 or so of juice it wouldn't be much longer. So at that point I decided to just keep her there until she goes. I removed the top of the potty chair and attached it to the actual toilet thinking that since she watches mommy pee pee here, maybe that would help? Guess I was right. After another 5 to 10 minutes she finally peed! It was only a little bit (she finished the rest on the bathroom floor) but success nonetheless.

Then, just before her nap, I thought we'd try it again. This time I took her directly to the bathroom and onto the "big girl" toilet. Within two minutes she released her bladder - the whole thing this time! HUGE pee pee party! We blew bubbles, clapped our hands, danced around and cheered. I'm looking to trying again this afternoon and will keep everyone posted. Yay for Eva!
