We were in Columbia this past Friday helping my mom get moved into her new place. After we were all done, Eva went outside to let off some steam from being cooped up all day. She was running all over the yard and then jumped and landed directly in an ant bed. Of course it was a moment or two before we noticed she had ants all over her leg. It didn't take long after that before she realized what was happening, too. I just couldn't get them off her fast enough. What a terrible feeling it was to hear her cry and not be able to make it better immediately. But what a tough girl she is...no fever, no reaction at all. She hasn't even tried to scratch them? I'm glad too since I'm not sure which anit-itch creams have gluten in them?! She does talk about it though, "bad ol' ants got me". Poor girl!
